The NYPD is advising residents that two fighter jets will be flying over the city Thursday morning.
The F/A-18 Hornets, twin-engine supersonic combat jets, will be flying at an altitude of 2,500 feet at about 9:30 a.m.
The aircrafts will be traveling from Kennedy Airport over the Atlantic Ocean through the Verrazano Narrows, and over the Hudson River to the George Washington Bridge.
They'll then reverse the route back to Kennedy Airport.
Residents should not be alarmed if they see the jets, police say.
