An F-22 Raptor, and F-16 Flying Falcon, a P-51 Mustang and a B-25 soared over the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and One World Trade Center in honor of the show this weekend at Stewart International Airport in Newburgh.
Video of the flyover released by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey shows the F-16 and F-22 passing through the harbor and by lower Manhattan.
The F-22 and F-16 are modern fighter jets that are still in use by the U.S. Military. The P-51 Mustang was single-engine fighter and bomber plane used during World War II and the Korean War.
The B-25 was a bomber used in every theater of war in World War II that remained in service until after the end of the Vietnam War.
