Ex-NJ Sen. Bob Menendez sentenced to 11 years in prison in bribery, corruption case

The prison sentence caps a stunning fall from power for New Jersey’s former senior senator. Bob Menendez rose from scrappy mayor of working class Union City all the way to chair of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee. But the bribery case that brought him down was overwhelming, with the now-infamous pictures of gold bars stashed in the disgraced senator’s home. NBC New York’s Chris Glorioso reports.
