A DirecTV driver with a suspended license was arrested after he struck an elderly woman in Brooklyn Monday, police said.
The 24-year-old driver was arrested on the license charge and failure to yield to a pedestrian.
The 72-year-old woman was in critical but stable condition after the accident at Sutter and Euclid avenues, and was later upgraded to stable.
DirecTV said it was investigating; the company said the van appeared to belong to an "independent dealer" and the driver was not a company employee.
