An elderly man was robbed at knifepoint by a pair of men who followed him into an elevator in Queens, according to the NYPD.
On Saturday at around 6:30 p.m., the 83-year-old man walked into the elevator on the lobby of the Astoria building in the area of 21st Street and 36th Avenue when he was followed by the two suspects, police said.
When the elevator doors shut, the first suspect took out a knife and told the victim not to make a noise while the second suspect took his cell phone and money from him before fleeing the area, according to authorities.
Nobody was injured, police said.
Police released surveillance photos in hopes of catching the duo.
