Dina Lohan was ordered to serve 100 hours of community service and pay more than $2,500 in fines when she was sentenced in Long Island court Tuesday to aggravated driving while intoxicated and speeding in connection with a 2013 traffic stop.
Lohan pleaded guilty in April to the charges in exchange for no jail time. The mother of the oft-troubled actress Lindsay Lohan also had to forfeit her driver's license for a year, after which she'll need to install an interlock device on her car for a year so she can't drive it if she's had alcohol.
Lohan also has to participate in a drunk driving program.
She was arrested in September on the Northern State Parkway with a blood alcohol level of .20, more than twice the legal limit. Authorities say she was driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Outside court after the sentencing, Lohan said, "I just want to put this behind me."
Her attorney called the stop an isolated event that occurred during a birthday celebration and said Lohan has no alcohol or drug abuse problems.
