Man Shot Dead in Atlantic City Casino Carjacking; Woman Wounded

Prosecutor says three "people of interest" are being sought in the incident

One man was shot to death and a woman was wounded during an apparent carjacking that authorities believe began inside the parking garage of an Atlantic City casino early Sunday.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Ted Housel says three "people of interest'' were being sought in the incident, which occurred around 8 a.m. in the area of the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort.

They apparently fled the scene on foot after the shooting occurred. Police responding to 911 calls soon found the victims inside their vehicle, which was in an alley not far from the casino.

Twenty-eight-year-old Sunil Rattu of Old Bridge was killed in the incident, while 24-year-old Radha Ghetia of Parlin was being treated at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center's City Campus.

Further details on the incident were not immediately disclosed.

Police have not made any arrests, but the investigation is continuing.
