A new poll finds that Gov. Cuomo's job performance rating has dropped to its lowest point since he took office in 2011.
The Marist College poll released Tuesday says 37 percent of registered voters give the Democrat an excellent or good rating. That's down from 44 percent last October, just before Cuomo was re-elected.
Cuomo's highest rating was 59 percent in October 2012.
Voters are even less pleased with the Legislature. Only 20 percent of respondents approve of the Assembly's performance and only 23 percent approve of the Senate's performance.
The survey of 712 adults was conducted last Monday and Tuesday in partnership with The Wall Street Journal and NBC 4 New York. Among 532 respondents identified as voters, the margin of error was 4.2 percentage points.
