TV’s "Cake Boss" was arraigned on drunk driving charges in Manhattan court late Thursday afternoon after he was stopped for allegedly swerving near Hudson Yards earlier in the day.
Police say they stopped a yellow 2014 Corvette driven by Buddy Valastro, the star of the TLC show "Cake Boss," after it allegedly swerved through traffic while heading north between 20th and 32nd streets.

Valastro attended his arraignment flanked by his lawyers; he didn't enter a plea. He's due back in court in January.
Police stopped Valastro near 10th Avenue after following him for a bit; they said he was unsteady on his feet when he stepped out of the vehicle. They say his face was flushed and his eyes were bloodshot. He allegedly failed a Breathalyzer test and was taken into custody.
Prosecutors say Valastro allegedly told arresting officers, "You can't arrest me. I'm the Cake Boss," and asked to be put into a cab.

Prosecutors say Valastro also allegedly admitted to police that he had had a few drinks before getting behind the wheel.
In a statement to his family, friends and fans Thursday, Valastro said: "Please know that I want to share and explain to you what happened today and I look forward to doing so at a later date. I appreciate your support and understanding as we handle things privately as a family."
Valastro, of Montville, New Jersey, is the owner and head baker at Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken and is known for his elaborate and large cakes, which are featured on the show.
TLC said in a statement, "We are thankful no one was harmed. This is a personal matter for Buddy and his family."
