Police Search for Rapist in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn

The incident happened on a secluded part of Hemlock Street in Cypress Hills

Police are searching for a man wanted for rape in Brooklyn.

The suspect approached his victim, a 28-year-old female, near Fulton and Hemlock Streets in Cypress Hills on August 8, police say.
 
He struck up a conversation with the victim, and then the two walked to a secluded part of Hemlock Street, where police say he raped her.
 
The victim was brought to an area hospital, where she was treated and released.
 
The suspect is described by police as a male in his 20s, who weighs approximately 175 pounds.
