Authorities are investigating what they describe to be the "suspicious" death of a toddler in Brooklyn, who police sources said was found dead in a bathtub.
According to the NYPD, officers responding to a New York Avenue home in East Flatbush shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday found the 3-year-old boy unconscious and unresponsive face down in the tub. He had suffered injuries to his head, according to police sources.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released.
Detectives were said to be questioning a person of interest, but no arrests have yet been made.

No other details were immediately available. Police say their investigation is ongoing.
