Police have released new video of eight men they're looking to question in connection to a possible bias attack near Madison Square Garden Sunday evening that left two men with a broken nose and a bruised hand.
The victims were walking arm-in-arm past a McDonald's near Madison Square Garden when a group of men in their 20s allegedly began yelling anti-gay comments, then pushed the victims to the ground and began punching one of them in the face, breaking his nose, authorities said.
The victims, ages 22 and 28, were treated and released from Bellevue Hospital after the 7 p.m. attack on Eighth Avenue.
The older man had a broken nose and the 22-year-old man had a bruised right hand.
The video released Wednesday was taken by a bystander who witnessed the attack. Most of the men captured in the video were wearing Knicks jerseys after Sunday's game.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800)-577-TIPS.
