A woman who anonymously returned two stolen pieces of art to the Museum of Modern Art is now wanted by police for questioning.
The artwork -- two gelatin silver print photographs of women, worth an estimated $105,000 -- went missing from the museum on Oct. 30, police said.
The same two photos were mailed back to the museum on Nov. 3, police said.
Police traced the package to a shipping store in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, where they found surveillance footage of the woman.
A museum press representative declined a request for comment.
She's described as 20-something and wearing a dark cap, glasses, black overcoat, tan pants and tan shoes.
