Police are looking for the man caught on camera walking up to a display outside a Brooklyn church, knocking over a religious statue and running away.
The man was spotted on surveillance camera knocking over the white statue outside Our Lady of Consolation Church on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg on Feb. 2, according to the NYPD.
After the man knocks the statue over, he can be seen running off.
The statue, part of a permanent display outside the church between Berry and Bedford avenues, was damaged as it hit the ground, authorities say.
