A small plane crashed into the trees short of the runway Sunday at a New Jersey airport, the FAA said.
The Bellanca plane was trying to land at Lakewood Township Airport at 1 p.m. when it crashed into the trees, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
There was only one occupant inside the plane, the Lakewood Police Department said. The occupant's injuries don't appear to be life-threatening, according to police.
Police and the FAA are investigating.
