One person is dead and three others were injured after gunfire rang out inside a building in Brooklyn, officials say.
The shooting happened just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday inside the lobby of an apartment building on Fulton Street in Bed-Stuy, according to the NYPD. Four people were shot, and one of them, a 20-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
Two others, a 55-year-old woman and another 20-year-old man, were seriously injured, police said. The man is at an area hospital in critical condition and the woman is in stable condition. A fourth victim, a 22-year-old woman, suffered a graze wound in the shooting. She is in stable condition, police said.
Video from the scene shows ambulances and dozens of police officers swarming the building in the rain.
No arrests have been made, but police said the suspect who pulled the trigger is a male. It's not yet clear how many of the victims were actual targets of the gunman.
The investigation is ongoing.
