5 Injured After Car Strikes Queens Bus Stop, Flees

Five people, including a young girl, were injured when a white sedan plowed into a bus stop in Queens and then fled the scene.
 
Police say the car drove up onto the sidewalk and struck the victims at the bus stop at Northern Boulevard and 48th Street in Sunnyside at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday. All five victims were taken to Elmhurst Hospital. Authorities say three of the victims were seriously injured, two critically.
 
Officials say a 7-year-old girl who suffered cuts and bruises was among the victims.
 
Police were continuing to search Sunday for the driver of the white sedan.
