Cash, iPhones, Headphones Stolen in Violent Brooklyn Robbery Spree

Authorities say the suspects committed eight robberies in and around Sunset Park, Borough Park, and Bensonhurst on Oct. 5

Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a violent robbery spree in Brooklyn.

Authorities say 20-year-old Abdul Kareem Moazb and 17-year-old Kareem Ahmed, both of Brooklyn, committed eight robberies in and around Sunset Park, Borough Park, and Bensonhurst on Oct. 5.

Moazb and Ahmed were caught in a stolen vehicle, police say. Another suspect was being sought.

In each of the robberies, police say one of the suspects would strike their victim with a blunt object, while the others punched and kicked them and removed their property. Four of the victims needed to be treated at a hospital for injuries sustained during the attacks.

The suspects made off with cash, iPhones, jackets, Dr. Dre Beats headphones, and a 2-way radio, among other items, authorities say.

Attorney information for Moazb and Ahmed was not immediately available.
