Gateway Project construction poses risk to Manhattan heliport

Concerns are growing over the impact of the Gateway Tunnel Project, as once construction starts, the West 30th Street heliport may have to limit operations. That heliport is the only landing zone that is open 24/7 — and if use there gets limited, emergency takeoffs and landings like those needed with organ donations can’t happen.
