Eastbound side of I-80 in NJ remains closed as sinkhole repairs continue for 2nd day
It was not immediately clear when the highway would reopen in Wharton. When a hole opened up in a nearby area in December, it took crews four days to fix. Officials still did not know what caused either sinkhole to open up, which did not provide much comfort for drivers. NBC New York’s Adam Harding reports.
