Attorney for Mayor Eric Adams meets with Department of Justice

Will the DOJ agree to drop the federal corruption case case against Mayor Eric Adams? That is what lawyers for the mayor are pushing for, and they had a meeting Friday at Justice Department headquarters in Washington, D.C., to try to plead their case, according to three sources familiar with the matter. NBC New York’s Jonathan Dienst reports.
