The MTA is warning of subway delays and suspensions on several lines Friday after someone was hit by a train at Delancey Street.
As of 9:15 a.m., there was no M or J service between Brooklyn and Manhattan to assist in the emergency response. M trains are running between Forest Hills and Broadway-Lafayette, and between Middle Village and Myrtle Avenue.
J trains aren't running between Marcy Avenue and Broad Street.
A number of other subway lines were reporting delays.
According to police, the person hit by the train was already on the tracks as the subway pulled into the station. It wasn't clear how the individual got there. The person was pronounced dead at the scene.
