Lauren Conrad has made it through two major MTV reality franchises -- Laguna Beach and The Hills -- and now the starlet announced that she will be, as she put it, "rejoining to the MTV family."
As The Hollywood Reporter confirmed, Conrad will star in a new reality show that documents her building a new fashion brand from the ground up, a brand she'd already described as "more of a boutique line" to People (read: more expensive than her Kohl's line). As she told THR: "I'm so excited to take on this new project that really focuses on my true passion."
Filming will apparently start in September, so expect a typical dose of MTV drama, backstabbing friends, 11th-hour fashion emergencies, and if our wishes are granted, a guest appearance or two by Kelly Cutrone.
