What to Do This Weekend: Wisin & Yandel @ SummerStage

As if this summer couldn't get any hotter leave it to Wisin & Yandel, the Reggaeton kings from Puerto Rico, to heat things up even more at SummerStage on Saturday.

It's also a free show. Yeah, Central Park is going to be a madhouse, but you cannot expect any less from their fans who've been following the duo for more than 10 years.

Juan Luis Morera Luna (Wisin) and Llandel Veguilla Malavé Salazar (Yandel), whose ties go back to the late '90s, have a mantel cluttered with awards, thanks to their mainstream break Pa'l Mundo (2005), and have pretty much surpassed all of their predecessors like Don Omar, Daddy Yankee and one of the pioneers of Reggaeton, El General, by releasing an album almost every year.

Earlier this year they dropped their eighth studio album Los Vaqueros: El Regreso featuring collaborations with T-Pain and 50 Cent on the track "No Dejemos Que Se Apague," and Sean Kingston on "Fever."

But these aren't the first collaborators that Wisin & Yandel have helped muster up some reggae en espanol -- they've also worked with Ja Rule, Lenny Kravitz, and R. Kelly.

So what can you expect on Saturday? A lot of sweat and a lot of grinding, but this would still be the case if Wisin & Yandel were performing in the winter. Show begins at 3 p.m., with Henry Santos opening up.
