A woman was found dead on the street after falling from a roof in Yonkers, authorities said.
On Friday morning, police found a 26-year-old woman on the ground in a lifeless state at Sadore Lane, police said.
An investigation found that the victim apparently fell from the roof of a seven- story building where she lived, officials said.
Detectives are further investigating to determine the circumstances of the fall. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy for further investigation.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
