Satanic Graffiti Painted on Churches on Long Island: Police

Vandals spray-painted satanic graffiti on four churches in North Amityville, police said. 

Grafitti was found at Prayer Tabernacle Church of God in Christ on Great Neck Road on Saturday, police said. 

The graffiti had also been found at Shaw Temple A.M.E. Zion Church on Albany Avenue, Zion Gospel Church on Warren Street and Amityville Full Gospel Tabernacle on Brefni Street sometime between 9:30 p.m. Friday and 10:55 a.m. Saturday, Suffolk County police said.

The graffiti was removed before Sunday morning services. 

Police are considering the four instances as hate crimes.
