Three with New York Ties Named Rhodes Scholars

The 23-year-old son of Woody Allen and Mia Farrow is one of this year's scholars.

Three American students with ties to New York are among the 32 people chosen as the 2012 Rhodes Scholars.

They include Miriam Rosenbaum of the Bronx, who's in her senior year at Princeton University, and Brett Rosenberg of Chappaqua, N.Y., who's studying at Harvard University with a focus on history.

The third, Ronan Farrow, is the son of actress and activist Mia Farrow and director Woody Allen. He graduated from Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y., when he was 15. Farrow also graduated from Yale Law School in 2009. The 23-year-old is a special adviser to the secretary of state for global youth issues.

The Rhodes scholarships provide all expenses for study at Oxford University in England.
