A woman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Queens Sunday night, police say.
The 31-year-old victim was going eastbound on Jamaica Avenue in Queens Village when she was hit by a Nissan Maxima driver trying to make a left turn onto Springfield Boulevard from the opposite direction, police said.
The 22-year-old driver of the Nissan stayed on the scene as emergency responders arrived and took the motorcycle operator, who had severe trauma to the body, to Long Island Jewish Hospital.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No one else was hurt.
