The NYPD has released a sketch of a man who punched a woman in the back of the head Saturday in Brooklyn as she walked with her 7-year-old daughter.

The 33-year-old woman and child were at East 12th Street and Elm Avenue in Midwood about 2:45 p.m. when she was hit and knocked over, police say. After he punched her, the attacker ran away.

The woman had minor injuries to her hands and knee from the fall.
