Police are searching for two men who allegedly approached a man standing on the street in the East Village, stabbed him several times in the back and ran away.
The suspects seen in the surveillance video released by police approached the 49-year-old victim standing on the 300 block of East 9th Street just after 4:30 a.m. last Saturday, Dec. 5 and stabbed him in the back, police said.
It's not clear if the suspects knew the victim, who was taken to Bellevue Hospital by EMS. He was treated and released, police said.
