A box truck was forced to pull to the shoulder of the New Jersey Turnpike after it caught fire near Carteret Friday morning, authorities said.
The truck caught fire near exit 12 on the Turnpike at about 7 a.m. and pulled to the side of the road.
Traffic delays were reported between exit 12 and exit 13 on the turnpike because of the fire.
