A tractor-trailer caught fire and the flames spread to a building at the Vince Lombardi Service Center on the New Jersey Turnpike at the start of the Memorial Day Weekend, state police said.
The tractor-trailer caught fire overnight at the service station in Ridgefield. The driver said he drove the burning truck away from the gas area.
The truck fire spread to one of the buildings, New Jersey State Police said.
The service station was closed after the fire.
The investigation is ongoing.
