Residents in Jersey City were impacted by another water main break Sunday - the third one to occur there in as many days.
The latest break in an 8-inch pipe on Neptune Avenue left nearly 100 customers without water service. It was repaired by 1 p.m. and no boil water advisories were issued, officials said.
Officials have not disclosed what caused the main breaks that have occurred in recent days.
A 12-inch break on New Year's Day flooded West Side Avenue between Culver and Pollock avenues. Repairs to that main were completed Saturday, shortly before another main broke in the same area on Saturday afternoon.
