An 18-year-old died after being shot in the face outside the East Village's Jacob Riis Houses on Avenue D, police said.
Deontay Moore, who lived on East 10th Street, was pronounced dead after being taken to Bellevue Hospital, according to authorities.
Officials said he was shot at around 10:47 p.m. Friday.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, but police said two suspects fled toward the FDR Drive on bicycles.
