Suspect Sought in Fatal Long Island Hit-and-Run

A woman has died in a hit-and-run crash in Long Island, according to Suffolk Police.

Raina Campbell, 48, was walking westbound on East Booker Avenue in Wyandanch when she was struck by a car travelling in the same direction, police say.

Campbell was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where she was pronounced dead.

Police say the car involved fled toward Straight Path and may have front end damage.
