Stranger Stabs Deli Customer in Buttocks: Cops

Surveillance video captured the Sept. 10 incident at about 5:45 p.m. at a deli in Forest Hills, Queens

Police are looking for a man they say stabbed a deli customer several times in the buttocks in Queens, without any apparent provocation.

Surveillance video captured the Sept. 10 incident at about 5:45 p.m. at a deli in Rego Park, Queens. Police said the knife-wielding assailant walked into the store at 99-08 63rd Rd., stabbed a man standing inside several times in the buttocks, then ran out.

The victim and the attacker did not know one another, police said. The victim is in stable condition.

The attacker is described as about 30 to 40 years old, 6 feet 2 inches, and 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, a black hat and black sneakers.
