A man was shot in the chest at a building in Brooklyn on Monday morning, fire officials say.
Emergency crews were called to a building at Kean and South Fifth streets in Williamsburg at about 7:30 a.m., according to the FDNY. When they arrived, they found one man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The man, who was conscious, was taken to Bellevue Hospital, firefighters say. It's not clear if the man was seriously injured.
It's not clear if any arrests have been made in the shooting.
