Gov. Cuomo's former home in a waterfront Queens community has sold for $2.4 million.
Cuomo had lived in the quarter-acre home with his then-wife Kerry Kennedy. The Democratic governor, who currently lives in Westchester County, sold the six-bedroom home in 1993. The couple divorced in 2005.
Realtors Michael Stanco and Michael Misiti said Wednesday that the deal was finalized in January for the home in Douglas Manor, a subsection of Douglaston, on the border of Queens and Nassau counties.
Stanco says the house is considered a ``sister home'' to the estate on Long Island's Gold Coast that some believe served as an inspiration for ``The Great Gatsby.''
Both homes were designed by the same architect. The realtors declined to name the property's new owner.
