A new study concludes that the New York area's three major airports are doing better at offering amenities to travelers.
The study was released Wednesday by the Global Gateway Alliance, a group that advocates for improvements to airports and related infrastructure.
It surveyed whether the 20 most heavily-traveled airports offered amenities such as movie kiosks, free wireless internet, designated play areas, health and wellness centers and spas.
JFK Airport and Newark Liberty Airport finished 10th and 13th, respectively, but increased the number of amenities they offer compared to last year's study. LaGuardia finished in last place a year ago but moved up two spots to 18th this year.
The top three airports in terms of amenities: Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Seattle-Tacoma.
