The NYPD is looking for a man who they say intentionally struck an on-duty police officer while he was riding an ATV in the Bronx.
The officer was driving the ATV, which had been seized in an earlier incident, back to a police station in Hunts Point when he was struck by a vehicle. The officer fell to the ground and the suspect drove off.
The officer suffered cuts to both of his arms and trauma to his neck and back. He was taken to Jacobi Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Police believe George Fabian, 44, was behind the wheel of the vehicle that struck the officer.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
