Two people were struck by trains and one was electrocuted on the tracks in three separate cases Friday.
FDNY said a man was hit by an F train at First Avenue and Houston Street just after 10 a.m., and was in critical condition at the hospital. Police said he was believed to be drunk and fell onto the tracks.
About 30 minutes later, a non-passenger eastbound LIRR train struck and killed a person in New Hyde Park.
Earlier in the morning, a man died after he jumped on the subway tracks of the 2, 3 line at 42nd Street and touched the third rail on purpose, police said.
Riders should check the MTA website for the latest on service changes.
