Authorities are investigating the death of a 33-year-old man who was found with slight bruising to his head in front of a home in Greenwich Village early Wednesday.
Police got a 911 call about an unconscious man outside a building on Christopher Street shortly after 2 a.m. and found him unresponsive at the scene. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how he died.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
