A 49-year-old man died Sunday after he went overboard from a sailboat near the Tappan Zee Bridge, police said.
Investigators believe the man, whose name they didn't disclose, died of an accidental drowning, said Lt. James Luciano of the Westchester County Police Department. They are attempting to determine whether he fell overboard or jumped into the Hudson River.
The man, who was not wearing a life vest, was one of three people aboard the 32-foot sailboat.
