A house fire in West Babylon killed a man Sunday morning, police said. Three other people in the home survived.
James Vella, 39, died in the fire on 15th Street and 15th Avenue, Suffolk County police said.
Another man in the home suffered minor injuries including smoke inhalation, police said. A firefighter also suffered smoke inhalation.
A woman and her 8-year-old son weren't injured, police said.
Detectives don't believe the fire is criminal.
