A manhole fire in Queens has shut down roads and knocked out power to parts of the area, police say.
The underground fire at Roosevelt Avenue and Prince Street in Flushing sent thick smoke billowing through the busy intersection.
Police say there are partial power outages in the area. People should avoid the intersection.
