Sixty people have been displaced from their homes after a fire ripped through a Long Island building Monday morning, authorities said.
The blaze started at a building on Long Beach Road near West Windsor Parkway in Oceanside at about 4 a.m., fire officials said.
By the time firefighters arrived, the D&D Convenience Store was fully engulfed in flames. Video from Chopper 4 above the scene shows the building that was ablaze has commercial stores on the ground level and apartments on the upper floors.
No injuries were reported. The fire doesn't appear to be suspicious, but authorities are still investigating.
The Red Cross was assisting the 60 displaced residents.
