Police say an 80-year-old woman driving in Brooklyn Sunday morning hit a man while he was crossing the street, and the pedestrian later died from his injuries.
The woman was making a turn onto Gates Avenue from Bedford Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant when she struck the 30-year-old man, authorities say.
The man's identity has not yet been released.
Police say the driver remained on the scene and that they are investigating the accident.
