Plaza Hotel Sues NYC over Block-Long Citi Bike Rack “Eyesore”

A lawyer for the hotel says the city didn't conduct a required environmental impact review

The Plaza says the block-long Citi Bike rack in front of its landmark hotel is an eyesore and wants it removed immediately.

The famous hotel has filed a lawsuit against the city claiming the rack causes traffic jams around the hotel.

The suit says the row of bright blue Citi Bikes has reduced the four-lane drive across from its main entrance to three.

The rack is located across from the Plaza along Grand Army Plaza.
