Police say a body was found on a private Connecticut beach Monday.
The body was found at about 1 p.m. on Rogers Road in Stamford, according to authorities.
Police identified the man as 26-year-old Jorge Simon, who lived and worked in Stamford for seven years after emigrating from Guatemala. He had been reported missing in February by family and friends when he did not return home for several days.
It was not immediately clear how Simon died, but police say there were no signs of trauma or foul play. Medical examiners will perform an autopsy Tuesday to determine the cause of death.
