A robber swiped the tip jar from a Queens bagel store, then punched a worker in the face, police said Sunday.
The robber walked into the LIC Bagel Store on 36th Avenue on May 14 and took the tip jar from the counter, the NYPD said.
A 30-year-old man who works at the Long Island City store tried to stop him, but the robber punched him in the face and ran off, police said.
The suspect is about 35 years old, 6 feet, 2 inches tall, and 220 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes, police said. He was last seen wearing black sneakers and a blue jacket.
